Prince George’s Audubon Society and the Patuxent Bird Club have resumed monthly bird walks.  The two organizations are still planning additional field trips.

Fran Uhler walks have resumed.  Bill Sefton has commenced leading the monthly walks at the Fran Uhler Natural Area and ending at Horse Pens on the first Saturday of each month starting at 7:30 am.  The remaining dates this year are are September 4, October 2, November 6, and December 4. Governor Bridge walks have resumed.  Bill has also resumed leading the monthly walks at Governor Bridge Natural Area on the third Saturday of each month starting at 7:30 am.  The remaining dates this year are August 21, September 18, October 16, November 20, and December 18.  These walks are continuing for the third Saturday of each month in 20222. Lake Artemesia walks have resumed.  Debi Talbot and others have commenced leading walks at Lake Artemesia on the first and third Thursdays of the month.  On August 19 the walk commences at 6 pm.  From September through March the walks will commence at 3 pm.  The other dates this year are September 2, September 16, October 7, October 21, November 4, November 18, December 2, and December 16.  These walks will also be continuing with rotating leadership during 2022.
