Start your new year’s bird list with our winter visitors at Patuxent Research Refuge’s South Tract, 10901 Scarlet Tanager Loop, Laurel, MD.  We will meet in the visitor center parking lot at 8 am to explore the refuge’s feeders, photo blinds, lakes, and trails.  Dress for the weather, bring your camera, and even a sketch pad.  Ken Cohen, kvulture@aol.com, will be leading this trip.  No reservations necessary.  Young people are highly welcomed.  Contact Ken if you may require binoculars.
