Explore the biodiversity of our beautiful county by participating in the City Nature Challenge, April 30-May 3. In this global community science bioblitz, people like you take pictures of living things in the natural world and use the iNaturalist app to add your observations to a global database. If you missed our introductory webinar, no worries. It's easy. You just need an iNaturalist.org account and the free inaturalist app on your smart phone. The on-line tutorials show you how to make observations and share them to the database using your phone or computer. During the City Nature Challenge -- April 30 to May 3, your photos from Prince George's County will be collected and counted along with others from the DC metropolitan area. Last year 111 participants in Prince George's County made 1,543 observations documenting 515 different species. Get your friends and family in on the fun and let's see how many species we can find this year!
