Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge Trip Postponed until 3/19

Join Ken and Diane Cohen at the Bay Country Bakery, 2951 Ocean Gateway (Route 50) at 9 am for a relaxed drive through Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. The Bay Country Bakery is located on Route 50 about three quarters of a mile south of the intersection of Route 16 (the Walmart intersection). This bakery serves a very traditional bread pudding along with other pastries and donuts. From the bakery we will proceed to Blackwater by way of Egypt Road. Our target birds are Snow Goose, Tundra Swan, and American White Pelican. We also expect to see Bald Eagles, and many other species of waterfowl. We will also stop at the Harriet Tubman museum to look for sparrows. Bring your lunch, camera, and good cheer. Please contact Ken Cohen at kvulture@aol.com to notify him you are joining this field trip.
